What is Compression Wear?
Many people are unfamiliar with the concept of compression wear until they begin preparing for a cosmetic surgery, such as a breast augmentation or liposuction. In such situations, their surgeon will tell them (or they will discover through their own research) that compression garments are necessary for post-surgical recovery. The physical trauma of most plastic surgeries often causes the affected area to swell, bruise, and feel tender, sore, or burning.
Compression wear for sports
Referring to the wikipedia, compression shorts are an undergarment usually worn by athletes. They are form-fitting and when worn cover the athlete's waist to mid or lower thigh. These garments are often made from a spandex-type material, similar to cycling shorts.
The main benefits of compression shorts are that they keep the muscles warm to prevent muscle strain, chafing and rashes, and to wick sweat away from the body. In addition, there is some evidence that compression shorts may enhance athletic performance.
Hugely technical compression wear has been around for awhile but interest of late is growing rapidly. Do not be put off thinking that it is not for you, that you are not this athletic, Compression Wear has huge benefits for us all. This product comes not only well endorsed by a whole host of famous sportsmen and women globally but most importantly by a runner who have more in common with you and I.

Benefits of Compression wear
1) Superior Fabric - With circular knit technology for equal 360 degree stretch, anti-microbial treatment and highly durable 50 Denier Lycra Prime Yarn. Compresses stronger and lasts longer.
2) Improved Recovery - Therapeutic rated fabric provides greater pressure and recovery benefit leading to faster muscle repair
3) Improved Circulation - Faster warm up and improved oxygen circulation. Encourage blood to the muscles and flush by- products away.
4) Reduced Fatigue - Reduced muscle vibration (linked to muscle fatigue) thereby improving muscle endurance and strength.
5) Reduced Damage - Muscle containment can reduce soft tissue damage in contact and intense sports. Preventative support and aided recovery.
6) Heightened Proprioception - Heightened body position sense for enhanced stability and agility.

How gears make your T2 smoother?
In those days, when we are entering T2, we have to sit down for our cycling shoe. After that, we have to running like a chicken to push the bike to the rideable zone. Or to be true, it is like running with a roller skate shoe! this definitely shortenning the cycling shoe's life as it is not meant to run/walk.
Later time, we have a new technique by Pro by attaching the shoe onto the pedal. When entering T2, we just push the bike** to the rideable zone, and mount/hop onto the bike, slowly we put the shoe on while you gain momentum on the bike, this shave some of your T2 time. P/S provided you have been practiced and the shoe opening is large enough for you to put in while you are on the bike.
Take a look of the "**" section, your bike shoe is attached to the pedal and it will be scratching with the floor while you are pushing the bike, it actually makes lot of "scars" to the shoe"s heel.
Now, with more ideals/feedback from the athletes, a new range of products have arrived. You still attach the shoe on the bike's pedal. with all the velcro-strap opened largely for easier entry. To avoid the shoe scratching, tie a rubber band (as shown in the pics) and attached it to the any part of the bike that can hold it. This will makes a lot easier/smoother for your T2 in your race!

Carraro Bikes

The answer to a new concept in lightweight and good handling, for road cycling who seek superior performance.
For the MONOCOQUE FIBRE FRAMES, the unidirectional carbon
in rolls is cut on the basis of computerised indications and is then manually overlaid at angles of 45 degrees. Each layer is 0,14 mm thick and up to 17 layers are needed for our monocoque
frames. Three further overlaid layers are required to refinish the carbon frame (Weave overlay technique) and improve the elegance of this material
The FIBRE BANDAGE FRAME is made with high modular carbon tubes, which are the lightest and strongest ones used for making frames. Only after the strictest verification through
checking jigs, frames are numbered so as to have total quality guarantee.
The TITANIUM FRAME, is made with 3-2,5 tubing, specifically engineered for light weight., every gram of the tubing is under scrutiny with exacting testing and strict quality controls at
every stage of production.
The ALUMINUM FRAMES, are made with light tubing low torsion profile specifically designed to reduce the torsion of the frame during accelerations and to reduce the weights thanks to
asymmetrical reinforcements with different gauges.

Limar Pro 104 - On Cover Page

The PRO 104 is the most successful product launch in LIMAR"s history so far. We knew we had
developed a really outstanding product, but were never expecting such fantastic market-reactions.
Lots of magazines have noted its great features and Italian Bicitech puts it on the front page in
their latest release. To make things even better, it was released during the EICMA show in Oct 2007.

Facts of Cycling Tight
Cycling tights are short, skin-tight legwear designed to improve comfort and efficiency while cycling. The advantages of wearing cycling tights are
- Reduce wind resistance.
- Protect the skin against the repetitive friction of the legs against the bicycle seat or frame.
- Draw sweat away from the skin to prevent chafing and rashes.
- To cool the rider down from the process of evaporation
- Compress the legs, which can help combat muscular fatigue.

Why Roadie Prefers Cycling Bib?
Bib shorts are cycling shorts that are held up by a bib (integral suspenders/braces) instead of an
elastic waistband. Pro and serious riders tend to prefer bibbed shorts over non-bibbed shorts,
due to the discomfort that often occurs with an elastic waistband, such as tightness (digging into skin) and chafing.
The bib part of the short is made of spandex and polyester with large sections of netting to help cool down the rider.
