86 years & going strong.
Carraro industria Cicli was set up by Cavaliere Giovanni Carraro in 1924. The first bicycles with the Carraro brand came out from a small workshop and ever since the family has been going on manufacturing increasingly more advanced bikes with the same passion and commitment for three generations.
The family tradition is obvious in everything we think and design, we breathe cycling in every corner of the factory, we talk cycling and its world at any time and opportunity.
Today Carraro has become part of one of the most important European bicycle manufacturing groups, “Sarda Group”. Thanks to this important agreement, Carraro will be able to make use of a structure whose production
capacity can meet any requirement in terms of both volume and service.
400 employees, 37,000 square metres of manufacturing area on top of the current area in Padua, three assembly lines, a cutting-edge wheel fitting facility, a complete varnishing line for both small and large lots, an area dedicated to quality control equipped with all the tools required to ensure reliable products and above all compliant with the CEN European Standards.
Today, with the strength of these numbers, Carraro is even stronger on the market and has three objectives that have always been the leitmotif of this company: constantly innovative products, quality and service.
